Mr. Nash has served elders since 1986 in a variety of roles, including as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator since 1994. He is active in his community and profession, where he has served on several local and national association boards, such as the District of Columbia Board of Nursing Home Administrators, LeadingAge, the District of Columbia Health Care Association and the National Association of Boards of Long Term Care, all in various leadership positions.

“My interest in long-term care (LTC ) has come from the roots of a family that has been involved in service to elders for years. I heard stories about how my great-grandmother would collect and deliver – through her grandchildren – ‘pennies from heaven’ to help Stoddard serve its residents. Several of my great-aunts served as nurses and in food services for years as Stoddard grew and transitioned. Finally, I was exposed to LTC when my mother suffered from the devastating disease, multiple sclerosis, from a very early age. In essence, this profession has been a substantial and sustained calling to which I have said ‘Yes!'”

As a certified public accountant with over 25 years of healthcare experience, Mr. Tyagi has served as a adjunct professor at a local community college since 1991 in addition to his commitments to various committees and nonprofit boards.

With business and hospitality management experience, Ms. Clark has proudly and professionally served nonprofit organizations for almost 10 years, specifically in fundraising and donor cultivation. She has been a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals since 2010, in addition to being heavily active with local charitable organizations, where she has served in various leadership positions.

“Seniors have always been a very special part of my life. Even as a young child, I had a special relationship with the elders of my family. A great reason for my affinity for seniors and towards homes such as Stoddard can be attributed to my mother, who has dedicated a great portion of her professional life and service in the field of nursing and elder care.”
